to be honest, i dont really have the money to repair my r1 at the moment so wouldn’t feel right using someone else’s bike in case something happened to that also.
was actually trying to work out if i could run my bike as a total loss system for a couple of sessions 
What do you need i can lend you some parts if it helps ? And same as Elad i have a spare bike if your stuck.

genny has mangled itself big time. Needs new stator and rotor. Neither are cheap, nor the labour to fix. Then there’s also the potential of the engine being damaged from debris from the genny

Beats me - have put up some pics in the thread in ‘bike talk’. Could be rubber cushes. As far as I can tell the rotor should cleanly spin around the stator and for some reason it stopped doing that and chewed it

and 2, been at the workshop all day today and yesterday getting everything ready, and found a problem with the carbs, had loads of people round to sort it but its got every1 baffled Just waiting on one more person to come and have a look :(…
