Brake, sprockets, chains and stuff

I’ll stick something on this in the “praise and shame” section this evening but for the moment www.biketorqueracing.co.uk are coming with a decent recommendation.

Needing a new rear master cylinder (I’ll have a rant on that in the General Chat forum later about that) and not happy to pay Aprilia £100 for another shoddy component, I punted around the internet, found a Brembo equivalent part/number which lead me to this company.

Great web site, particularly if you own a slightly unusual bike, nice helpfull guy on the other end of the phone, prompt despatch and cheap (£53 for the better m/cylinder.)

Pity I didn’t find them earlier. I could have saved £60 on the replacement disc the duff m/cylinder wrecked.

Thanks for the recommendation - always looking for decent parts suppliers.

Sounds good, but it may be worth checking if the shop is an authorised Brembo dealer. There’s loads of fake Brembo stuff around (mainly on ebay), and apparently it’s very hard to spot to the untrained eye.
It being a brake component etc, it’s probably worth double checking.

Found them via Brembo’s official site so I think they are probably kosher.
