Bracken service - thanks guys!

Last year I was commuting 80 miles a day and bought a 950SM. Fantastic bike for distance and general commuting - now I’m doing maybe 25 a day into and out of London and, while the KTM was good and generally fun, it felt like it was too much on town roads. Doesn’t stop it running rings around the sportsbikes tho.

Yesterday, I had the bike serviced by Bracken. They did a fantastic job, doing a few extra jobs for me, including fixing my brake pedal that got ripped off in December and fitting a smaller front sprocket. I’ve done this to most of my bikes, but never got around to it on the KTM for some reason.

Holy cow - the difference is amazing - the bike feels 100lbs lighter and is noticably faster. With the suspension twiddled for me, it feels much more like a supermoto and less like a lardy tourer.

Thanks guys!

I won’t have any chance of keeping up now :frowning:

Not that I ever had before :hehe:

Good to know Bracken have sharpened up their act coz they used to be sh1t. Really sh1t.

I think they’re a bit quiet at the moment. Got more time to devote to a job.

I’m a couple of miles from Motorite - been there for as long as I can remember and I bought the SM because they were just down the road - not like a Ducati where you’ve got to go bl**dy miles to get it serviced, right?

When the 1st service was due on the SM, they told me it was a road bike and they couldn’t touch it, so now my options in London are Essex, Croydon or Bracken. Bracken is minutes from the city and do loner ‘bikes’. No brainer.

BTW, wotcha Dries!
