Bow Flyover - a warning

I’m sure many of you use the Bow Flyover. About 6 months ago, the road markings on the westbound stretch were remodelled so that it is now a single lane (perhaps connected to the death of a motorcyclist about a year ago). Since then, the position of the removed white centre line has deteriorated into a long, deep rut. It’s very dangerous - the groove could easily catch a bike or scooter tyre. I complained to Tower Hamlets council about 3 months ago, and some patches were filled in. Nothing else seems to have been done. The flyover was closed on sunday, and I thought that the work was at last being carried out, but it hasn’t. I’m going to call the council again, but in the meantime, please be warned.
