How fair would they fit under the lid?

Should fit under the lid no problems.

Those hook looking things sit in your ear, rather than going on the outside like most.

They are great at marketing but crap at creating anything that resembles a decent product capable of replicating the original sound. Do a search for another topic about Bose, I posted a link with a article about them.

Watch out for the little silicon bits popping off when you remove your helmet, I’m forever losing the buds from my earphones when I take the helmet off.

Solution - buy some spare silicons or add a drop of superglue to hold the fecking things in place.

Those acoustimas speakers Bose charge a fortune for are just awful when compared to even a budget set of speakers and amplifier

One thing that really gets me about Bose is their noise cancelling headphones. There is a demo point in just about every tax free electronics shop in every airport in the world.
Put the headphones on and press the ‘without noise cancelling’ button and you hear music with sounds, similar to being in a passenger jet, played over it.
Press the ‘with noise cancelling’ button and the jet noise goes away and you just hear music.

Clever marketing, not proof of concept.

That being said, if you like the brand/looks then go for it, in ear headphones aren’t designed for perfect sound but more for practicality.
Im just pissed because I’ve never actually found a pair that stay in my ears

i use sennheiser ie6 can be had for around the same money new on ebay sometimes some wait for em to pop up but they are the nuts its like clubbing on a bike bass line like you wouldnt believe .

A balaclava will help immensely at them not popping out! :slight_smile:

I have one of those IPod Bose docking stations and the bass rocks for such a small unit, even used it for our street party! Don’t get me wrong, not a patch on my sub-base (mordaunt short) and amp set up but amazing sound for the size and cost.
