I had an operation last Friday. I am not allowed to ride the bike for 6, yes 6 weeks, and I’m off work for at least 2 weeks. I am so bored! The kids are driving me insane.
If you think 6 weeks is bad, try 5 months as that what i had after my accident.

Thanks for all your suggestions, the problem I have is that I have 4 kids under 4 at home with me, so apart from periods like now, when they are all busy eating, I don’t get any peace and quiet to do things like play on the x-box or PC. In fact I have just been interuppted to go and make some more lunch for my 4 yr old and I have no doubt he will want to play c-beebies on the pc when I’ve finished
Bum deal mate… now this won’t make you feel better for not riding your bike… and it may sting a bit… but I’m a mum to a child with ADHD, Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Dyspaxia and he’s nearly 10 = gobby stoppy lil git
You have this time to learn how to be a better dad.
Spend time with your kids, they are sponges at that ages… turn off cbeebies… ugh… bloody fifii flowerpot tottie and strange programmes (balamory - freak town more like and don’t get me started on Lazy town :w00t: ) teach them cool things. Get some old bike mags, cut them up and make collages with them - do something with them. Get them interested in bikes, find some educational games online - do something other than whinge. Time will fly by and you can then be out on your bike destressing. Then again, if I was your missus, I wouldn’t be best pleased… but I’m not. It was being bored that got you four under four mate there’s a smartarse answer to that too… but I won’t depress you further.
The social services don’t seem to like that version of child care:)
Sadly the Mrs would have a sense of humour failure as well.

More of a cartoon network or boomerang fan me. Spiderman, xmen, battle of the planets, moomins… infact I never grew up 
My son also loves xmen, spiderman and the other stan lee (god) stuff.
