Hi there…

Recently returned from Oz where I learnt how to ride (on a Yamaha TW200cc) mostly off-roading through national parks and on beaches in QLD… which was a load of fun!

Got back to Blighty, did my CBT and DAS and bought a CBR600, which I’ve got to know rather well in the past 4 or 5 months - I think we’ll be very happy together… for a while at least and then who know’s what I’ll get next???

Whereabouts in Welsh Wales are ya from?

Theres some stunning roads in them there hills

I’m from Cardiff, so although it’s not out in the sticks and all that, it’s not far to get out west along the coast, up through Brecon, out towards Ross, etc… so have already taken on a few of those roads when I’ve been down for the weekend… a lot of fun!

In fact on my DAS I was up through the Beacons in wind and rain storms at the back-end of January… my instructor even rang me at 7am to see if I still wanted to ‘risk it’ in the storms! ‘Best way to learn’ I replied…

One of my favourite roads is the one that goes through the Brecons past Taf Fechan Reservoir and ends at Resolven.

Love the Gower too, superb beaches at Rhossilli.

Awww mate - the Gower is awesome - the only problem is that you have to go past Swansea to get there!

(sorry to any jacks on here - I’m only kidding, 1-love an all that…)

Huge Bluebirds fan – London based season ticket holder and all that… So wondering how all this Fowler business is going to pan-out. I used to go to the rugby as well when I was a kid, but now just watch the internationals mostly. It’s all about footy and MotoGP!

So are you from those parts or just know it well…?
