think i got the same too. grab a pair of football socks put them over your normal socks and bobs your uncle, no cold feet on the way to work and toasty feet at work if you can’t be bothered to take them off
must admit it was a little bit on the tight side when trying to do them up. just thought it must’ve been all those mince pies ive eaten that went erm…straight to my feet
I’ll add another vote for decent socks. Snowboard and hiking socks don’t need to be super thick to make them work better than normal socks, it’s down to the material used.
The boots I use are Hein Gericke GTX Boots if I’m popping in and out of jobs all day and Sidi B2 Goretex for longer journeys or when I know I’m in one place all day.
The Sidi’s are a lot warmer as they fit further up the leg and stop the wind hitting the legs.
I have the same ones. My feet have never been cold in them, even in thinish socks. They weren’t too hot in the summer either, and the most waterproof boot I’ve had
