Sorry I mean Noob (look at your keyboard its an easy mistake to make)…made you look anyhow :PHere goes my Newbie thread, If you’re sitting comfortably then I shall begin:
My real name is Sean, I’m 29, from Watford and a Broadcast Engineer by trade, chose my username because I have a collection of 4 vehicles none of which is equipped with a radiator (2xVW, 1xold porsche and 1xBike).
I confess to having been a London Biker voyeur since Sept 08 when I registered just before taking my test (which I passed first time yay!) in order to surf for tips…mainly on the U-turn which was my achillies heel to begin with. Started riding in May 08 and took a leisurely approach (a few hours a week for 16 weeks) practicing on a Honda 125 I bought from a breakers yard and tarted up.
And here she is in all her glory! Honda CBZ-125F…takes no prisoners…mainly due to not being able to catch them lol.

Anyway after dispensing with the direct access test I put her up for sale (with plenty of offers for such a handsome ex-write off) and managed to wrestle a tried and trusted bandit 600 with 6500 miles on the clock from a friend of a friend at work:

I must admit Sept is a crap time to get your wings but I’ve made sure to keep my hand in and made a journey on the bike at least once a week (with the exception of the snow episode!) and to this day I’ve not fallen off. Not once. Not even a little bit (must try harder)!
Why did I decide to break the silence? Well I tend to lurk places for a while and decide if I want to get involved. I cant stand sites with too many armchair experts or where bun fights errupt too often because said experts cant respect someone else’s freedom to have a differing oppinion (and why can’t any of them spell?) Oh and a personal recommendation from LiamCBR so London Bikers seemed like a good place to get my motorcycle fix (I’ve already found sites that satisfy my needs in other areas thanks).
Well thats my newbie thread…if there’s anything else you’d like to know about me please feel free to get in touch so I can apply for a restraining order ha ha
