yeash!

you ‘might’ be able to plug that…

DO YOU THINK SO

its about a m12 bolt.

will it be safe?

blimey thats a biggun :w00t:

they normally widen the puncture holes first before adding the rear mushroom. not sure of the limit of size or if the rubber has torn around the puncture in which case you’re screwed (exuse the pun)

whichever garage is gonna switch the tyre for you will be able to tell you if its plug or replace. doubt they see many with bolts through 'em tho!

omg:w00t: did you run over frankenstein:D

looks like you have been riding the same route as ratty46

I reckon you need a champagne cork to plug that fooka !

Anyone ever felt entirely safe after a tyre plug?

Whenever I have one done my poor riding goes to complete sh*t 'cos I’m sorta waiting for the plug to let go.

never had a plug go…had them fitted in all sorts of puncture holes, in a tear in a hole bigger that that and still fine…they are very very good…but as with all things these days H&S will say it is unpluggable, get a kit and do it yourself and see if it is or not…bet it is…

Plugs from the inside done in a tyre place will usually be pretty good. temporary plugs done roadside by the AA or by kit are less so.

Ohh, that is nasty. Makes you wonder what damage has been done to the inside of the tyre?

had plugs in a number of tyres, used them on track. absolutely fine for me

Location and size of hole = new tyre, i reckon.

Plugs good for near centre of tyre, and that bolt is huge!!

It won’t be too safe in my opinion.

Just go Essential Rubber and get it plugged. Come over to Ace, few burnouts etc  Don’t waste such a nice tyre :stuck_out_tongue: Get a new one after  Simple as that

so when did you become a stunt god?? :stuck_out_tongue:

But would you want to??? :w00t:
