Bodywork repairs

Has anyone ever used these guys:

Or does anyone have any recommendations for “smart repair” of motorbikes that cover north-west London?

What’s wrong with ya bodywork?

When I had my off a while back, I came down at slow speed onto the right hand side of the bike. I’ve asked with Honda but the price to replace the panels is prohibitive (not surprised I guess!), so I’m looking for a smart repair.

Here are some pics.

See who your local car main dealers use, after all they are not going to be able sell a car for top money if it isnt perfect. Your damage is just like scuffed car bumpers so they may be able to give you an idea before you contact the repairer

Is it your bike or car that needs repairing?
Well you can either get either repaired then sprayed or repaired then wrapped…
Which is what I do PM me ya number and arrange a meet up and I give ya a quote if ya like and also I know someone else that could help you aswel

As its silver and as coulor matching goes you can get away with more sins . Get the scotch pads out and rattle can it .

PM sent, thanks

Bah, the bike is five weeks old, would feel wrong to do that to it! Back in the day I completely rebuilt the bonnet of my Mark 1 Ford Escort (and I do mean rebuilt, it had rusted through and when I finished there was more putty in the bonnet than metal!), but the car even back then was old.

Mind you, if the quotes turn out to be too much then I might have to…

I keep telling you bro, stop trying to wheelie that Silverwing! :hehe:

Age is irrelivent … what your doing is adding character

We’re not up in the Scottish Highlands now laddie, I’ve no need of that kind of character

I’m going to see Captain Slow tomorrow evening, bearing in mind that he runs a company called “pro wrap” (http://prowrapuk.com/) it’s possible that I’ll be adding more character than intended!!

You could have it wrapped tartan

Your in London, you’ve a scuffed bike, age is irrelevant. You’ve joined a not very exclusive club.

Rattle can it/live with it. If you spend money you’ll only feel even more p*ssed off when some muppet scratches it in a bike bay.

Or you drop it again.

There’s no fixing that mate, it’s still gonna be a scooter!

Repair a scuff? Why? It’ll only end up scuffed again. That’s riding in town for ya.

My XRV’s bodywork is a like a roadmap of pain and suffering. If it flaps about, duct tape if. If not, ignore it.

If it’s your commuting bike I wouldn’t fix it. YOu may find it scratched again after parking in motorcycle bay next to some irresponsible rider… My Kwaki has scratches all over it. Just don’t wash it for a while and you will stop noticing them
