BMW is set to enter WSB next year with a brand new machine, called the K46 apparently. The BMW team has been set the challenge of wining WSB by 2010! Within BMW bike the K means its a 4 cylinder layout. To qualify for WSB, BMW must produce 125 bike before the start of the race season and 1000 road versions of the bike by the end of 2009.

Reports say that it makes the WSB GSX R1000 Suzuki look oversized. Last year when they were testing the motor they managed to fit the 1000cc lump into the frame and under the bodywork of a Yam R6. The bike is also know as the 190/190 because its expected to produce 190bhp at the crank and weighs around 190Kg.
