A cross-country jaunt to Brighton (http://www.buddies24hour.net/) for some fish & chips, before returning back via the motorway. It’s about 2 hours down to Brighton, and one and a half back - expect to be back at Blackheath around 1am.
Route:

You will need:
70 mile range in your tank leaving Borough;
A full license for the motorway - no L plates;
Lights that work in the dark;
Money for fish and chips;
To not be in a hurry to get back in to London.
Leaving:
Borough at 7
Blackheath at 7.30
Im up for this. Are you going on the Minsk?

if he did he would have to tape some cycle lights to it
No lights. We’re looking at a round trip of about 140 miles. The longest distance the Minsk has completed between breakdowns, ever, is 66 miles.
I will be taking a 990 Adventure. [insert KTM reliability joke here]
Tonight leaving from borough market.

Can’t we cut out the A23 and insert A283, A285 & A259- Then I’d come out and play on a school night!
Tempting… but I’m so freaking blind at night, it might be too much for a school night.

Yes! that looks better!
Hmmn… it does add a fair bit of distance. Attendees will vote, democracy will decide!
A little bit of additional distance…but well worth it for the scenery and general joy of riding great roads!
Well Brighton was more like Thailand with all the people partying on the beach :w00t: Back at the hut by 12 or so.
Perhaps next time do DB’s route via Bognor on the way down, and keep the blat return back into London for us to all go our different directions.
