Bluetooth Comms - Cardo Scala G4, Sena SMH10 or something else?

Am looking at buying a pair of Bluetooth headsets for rider to rider comms so a looking for a steer in the right direction

I thought I wanted the Scala G4’s - but having just read a review that says they are very good, they apparently aren’t as good as the Sena SMH10’s.

So - does anyone have either? Even better, has anyone had both?

Are there any other units I should be looking at more closely other than the above named two?

Ta!

Got the Cardo Scala system and I think its great but not tried any others:D

Now also learning about the Interphone F5 which looks good and is the newest technology for roughly the same price as the other systems … gah … I hate choice!

I’m now looking for opinions on any system / any problems you’ve had / anything you wish they did better?

Also if anyone knows of a shop that stocks them so I could handle the goods? (Or indeed if anyone has the module - would let me fiddle with their helmet  )

I have the Scala (Not the G4), only tried the intercom function once, and gave up, took it out of my wife’s lid and bought her some earphones.

Maybe I hadn’t fiddled about with them enough, but the wind noise in my wife’s lid caused a connection to mine on the motorway, this stopped my music, it didn’t release the connection till we got off the motorway and slowed down.

Having said that I do use it every day as my blue-tooth headset (I can take calls and in my job that is great) and I plug in me music but can still hear background noise compared to headphones (Which I use at the weekend).

I have a 3 or 4 year old ‘Interphone’ system.

I recall using it with a friend on a test ride, we’re both over a… we’re both going quite fast on the motorway, having a very easy, clear chat about his bike.

They are rather old (2 units) and tbh, I’m looking to get something new that I can play music/podcasts through, so either a) you can buy my old setup very cheap  or b) I’d be interested in your findings on these new units
