just seen the post about davebez…rip buddy.

on 14th this month woman in a black BMW decides to cross three lanes with the sole (not really i hope) intention of taking me out.

she hit the front of the bike, threw me clear of the bike…good luck no 1…the impact split the bike in virtually in two, frame gone clean across. Second good luck I ws thrown onto the hardshoulder instead of into all the traffic. No one else hit me…Final piece of good luck loads of witness’ and no chance of the bitch blaming me.

The bad news is a broken left arm and wrist…now plated, bruised everywhere, seriously damaged groin…legs fine…real bad news parlaysed right arm…no more biking i am afraid.

good news is that they think over the next two years i will recover some function in my right arm and that seems to be true as already things are starting to show signs of responses.,…

But i am alive now back home after two weeks in hosp…got another few years of recouperation but at laeast I am alive…

Do have a few more details??? did she just cut straight into you without seeing you? was she trying to make an exit off the carrige way?

I really hope your ok. Was looking forward to some road riding round normandy this summer so will pop in and say hello if im in the area.

was on the 10r…going slow for once…if i had been moving she would not have hit me. I will recover but today is first day of that so long way to go

That is terrible news but at least you are on the mend and hopefully will be receiving a cheque soon for your bike and gear!

Get well ASAP and maybe we should organise that ride up to your farm soon!
