Made my fifth donation (oh yes! Shiny mk.II donor’s card!) a couple months back, directly before a first date. Ended up drinking, dancing and smoking shisha; and fainted! Smooth, me…
good man, giving blood is good. As said previously couple pints after does wonders. shame more people don’t do it, give blood I mean not drink 
although nothing wrong with either.
I did my sixth donation about 2.5 weeks ago!
I’m so frightened of needles but I always seem to find my eyes stray over to my arm like some sick curiosity. I give because it’s for a really worthwhile cause, it’s just a shame more people don’t give just because they are scared of the needle.
I have been giving blood since I was about 17, damn, that’s nearly 10 years, I am getting old!! I think it’s a great thing to do, even better that you get a cuppa and biscuits afterwards
