I was talking about this last week. He hold the land speed record for a blind person. Did you see him on Top Gear? He beat Wogan’s time 
Alot of sighted riders couldn’t do that course - so TOP BANANAS TO THAT MAN!

he was on the bike show show last week i think, the speed record programme that was filmed is quite emotional and well worth watching!! talk about determination!! keep on going fella:)

It was an amazingly emotional thing which surprised me.
I kinda stumbled on him getting ready behind the garages and so hung about shooting what I could. There was so little press attention I really couldn’t walk away, which was a shame considering the irony of a photographer and a blind person.
Watching him get ready, seeing the nerves and concentration of him and his outriders really filled me with inspiration.
Then on track, I first thought “hell that’s slow” then remembered that he’s BLIND FFS, I can’t imagine the concentration and trust that he displays. Even trying the straighten the bike after a corner took a lot of weaving until he was riding straight.
Absolutely amazing and I knew we had to publicise this man some more.
I am going to try and get a 1-on-1 interview with this guy at some point, so we will hopefully have more articles coming soon! Watch this space…

I do hope someone got it on video. IMO this fella should have been on the news.
