Ouch!
Still under warranty?
Meh, bit of duck tape and a few cable ties and it’ll be as good as new
Araldite?
Took me 3 attempts to see the problem.off to specsavers I go.
Just goes to show the parallel twin with 360 degree crank,
having mechanical primary engine balance that is no better
than a single, does indeed suffer from vibration and engine
stress.
So why did so many clasic British parallel twins have a
360 degree crank?
You could just hold that in place with your left foot while you ride.
I thought that was just a crankcase breather modification
They’re all like that Sir, they come like that from the factory!:discuss:
nice cooling system.
Because they were badly designed s^&t - I can never understand people getting all “misty eyed” over “classic” English twins.
The Honda Four was the death knell for all of them (Norton/Triumph/BSA etc.) as it brought in an era of something hitherto unheard of - reliability.
