Ive just checked the praise/ shame topic but found NO mention of them either way… which is a good start!
Its renewal time again on the bandit and my renewal quote was £380… which is a slight reduction on this year.
Did a few of the online quote thingies and have had a good laugh! Anywhere from 350 - 9,999 … yes, all but £10k!!
Bikesure however have beaten the best of them and offered me Fully Comp - £267 with only £200 excess! To be honest i nearly bit their hands off there and then having double checked the details and made sure they had them all correct!
Common sense kicked in however and I thought id throw it open to you lot… SOMEONE must have had some dealing with them at some point… Are they any good?/ Should i avoid like the plague ?..
Im of on holiday in a few days so might not respond to anything for a week or two… but ALL feedback is appreciated!
I use them - but haven’t had to claim. I’ve used Adrian Flux for cars for years and have never had any problems, so I though I would give the bike part a try and they seem fine. They quoted me a good price. They do charge quite a bit of interest if you pay by installments but you probably don’t need that on bike insurance.
Never touch Bennetts with somebody else’s barge pole, they are the most incompetant bunch or a*holes you’ve ever come across, to the point where I wasn’t even sure I was insured. They will lie to you, delete data from their system and basically screw you around so much that the £20 you saved is lost in aditional phone calls and hassle.
Am with H&R insurance now, heard some good things about them and they do seem to have a bit of respect for their customers but not had to claim yet.
I insured my bike with them this year - their part of Adrian Flux who I’ve used in the past for my car etc and never had any problems so their Ok far as i know
I’m using them, they were a staggering 50% cheaper than any other quote. I’ve also used them (as Adrian Flux) for kit cars, classic cars and 4x4s in the past and had no problems with their service or prices.
Having said that, I have never actually claimed from them so can’t comment on that.
I was also very surprised how much cheaper they were and I checked the small print very carefully but I couldn’t see any difference between it and any of the others.
Cheers for the feedback guys - I got an email with an insurance document (small print etc) tyoday from adrian flux and was a little suppriesd - then saw the bikesure logo when I opened it!
Looks like i’ll be makingthe switch unless Express can do some seriously good wriggling
Express managed a lot of wiggling when I renewed my Bandit insurance. Think about 30% wiggling. Express seem good enough but then they all do until you need to claim don’t they.
