Hello! I’m in the position of buying a bike for commuting (or scooter) up into London from Croydon, but I’m what you might call vertically-challenged: 5’1" to be precise.
Does anyone have any recommendations for bikes that I’d be comfortable on?
BMW F800 S/ST/R/GS can all have a factory ultra low seat fitted, and they can all be ordered with lowered suspension.
if its commuting only and im guessing youll be on l plates id say yamaha ybr 125 or honda cg125 if you wnat a bit of fun and something a bit more sporty looking go for a honda cbr 125 but if theres a bike you like thats to tall for you you can allways just get a lowing kit
ah yes should have mentioned - it needs to be a 125 as I’ll only be on L plates

I really don’t know how much I’ll have to spend unfortunately, so looking for an opportunistic sale I’m afraid. Just sold my (crappy) car so I have a small amount set by, but got to get the rest together.
you can get a jack down kit for most bikes… of take some padding out of seat also to lower it…
your only like 2 inches bigger then her 
SR125 was by far the lowest bike I found…there was another thats an inch or two taller, but off the top of my head I cant recall it. It wasn’t CG125/CBF125/R125/VanVan, they are all far too tall for someone 5 foot with shortish legs.
Using that tool I’m looking at Suzuki GN125’s - my feet would almost be flat on those. Look good too… would they be ok for commuting?
The SR125 looks very similar actually! Doesn’t seem to be listed on that ergonomics tool though. Two choices now! Thanks guys
