Bikes, bends and a BBQ. Sunday 22nd.

I live down in St Pauls Cray between Sidcup & Orpington and frequently go a wandering through various country lanes towards the sea. Last weekend i checked out Broadstairs which i thought to be a pleasent little place.

This Sunday im thinking to pick some random roads leading up to the sea where we can stop somewhere for a light lunch and cuppa. Afterwards we go back to my place for a BBQ. Theres a big Tesco near my place for supplies and plenty of BBQ space to cook up.
I live in an old school building so theres plenty of room for people and bikes inside and outside. Nice big grassy areas for a proper picnic too.

I might have a passenger so apart from the odd blast it will be a reasonably slow-medium pace.

I will check out some roads and see what might be worth doing.

I live in Kent so may be interested in a bit of the ride but don’t like riding in town or pottering about or BBQ’s ! Sorry . Also live somewhere spacious enough for peeps and bikes as a stop off , and taking over a country Pub mid july with discounts for LB members .

Start time for the ride im guessing about 10. Start time for the BBQ im guessing about 4-5.

Yeah im happy to keep the thread active for it to happen anytime in the future.

Depending on how many show up and how long you stay, seeing as i have a projector and HUGE SCREEN we could do a movie once the sun goes down. The worlds fastest Indian maybe?

Is this an open invitation? I’ve been a member for a while feel comfortable with the C1h and now trying to get myself involved in the rideouts and all that.

Well i am going out this Sunday but i dont seem to have any confirmation for then so will keep it open for another time.
Everyone is welcome as its an open thread not a personal invite. Suggestions for locations welcome.

Am always out on sundays at least anyway , could meet your posse south of the smoke somewhere with GP. If you want to end up at Broadstairs for a bit ( of time that is ) and mixing choices of roads , then just post .

Unfortunately the new clutch plates i was sent are the wrong ones so im not going anywhere this weekend. I should have checked them before i pulled the old ones out. :frowning:
