Bikerguard

Thoughts on this? I can imagine it would be quite useful when filtering in heavy rain so you can keep both hands free for controls.

Not sure it’s a convenience worth extra installation hassle or cost though.

I guess it looks a bit dorky but I’m old and dorky enough for that not to be much of a concern :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Stick with Mr Sheen.

I wouldnt really want that on my helmet…

just use vee wipe… although most winter gloves now come with it sewn in

Yeah, I have a vee wipe, the one on my winter gloves is a bit too stiff to be effective. I just find it a bit difficult when filtering in tight traffic as I want to have the clutch covered. It’s not the end of the world, just saw this advertised to me and thought it was interesting

Are you thinking for impact reasons you wouldn’t want it? this review suggests that it isn’t a major concern (i already have a bluetooth headset on the helmet anyway) but i suppose they would say that Bikerguard visor wiper review - “Best product I don’t need”

impact and looks (I dont like to spoil the look of the helmet with things like gopros either)

Fair enough, I mosty ride for commuting so I spend most of the winter riding around in a big goretex suit, hi vis, rucksack full of work stuff and cargo net with shopping on the pillion seat so I don’t think it’s the windscreen wiper that is going to ruin my stylish image :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I bet it would add unwanted wind noise too.

Good point, although if you’re only wearing it in heavy rain, possibly not so much of a concern over the sound of raindrops rattling off the visor

Hellishly expensive…
