i just had news that a biker was killed in blackheath today:( just as you go up lee road heading up towards the village. from wot I’ve heard a car struck the bike and the air ambulance landed on the heath. the road is still closed so avoid lee road. rip biker
wow this one is real close to home. was on the phone to an estate agent when that air ambulance landed. thought to myself that could be for a biker. not good at all. and i hope to god this isn’t anyone i know. not that that makes it any easier for all the people this will affect.
RIP. too much of this going on at the moment.
yer i was on the heath to when it landed at dad’s work i live just down the road to donno who it is yet hopefully it’s no one i no either.
from wot i heard the biker was dead at the scene and the air support was for the car driver. r.i.p
R.I.P FELLOW BIKER
bloody hell. sounds like a high impact? you don’t know what bike it was do you fella?
na i never see the bike but sounded nasty ill ask my old man when he is in i think he see it as he works up there.
how sad…:ermm:
FSS !!!Another one
the bike was turning out off Priory park road onto lee road when he got hit by the car ill try find more out asap. might be somming in new shopper? etc??
right OK my old man just said now. i am not sure there was a car involved but its defo a biker some one just told me there was 2 ppl on the bike one is dead other 1 is in critical condition any one else’s shed some light plz? and the bikes been carted off.sorry for any confustion
know that road and junction very well. this story just gets sadder as that’s properly residential and sounds a bit like someone may have just picked someone up to go for a ride and literally pulled out of their road and then the accident happened. not good at all
yes i no it all well to as i am from lee green. if he was turning out onto that road he could not off been ragging it hard so i wonder wot happend…and yes to much off this **** is going on now! it pisses me off! when u hear its another bike it just hits ya and brings back memorys for us that have lost biker mates:(
Sad to hear.
Very close to me, too (well where I lived for 10 yrs and where my kids have their main home) and I’ve traveled it countless times.
They resurfaced Lee Road a few weeks ago and put in loads of speed humps (bus-friendly split ones) and traffic islands. Parking on the road is a bit random.

OMG… I drive past there everyday, Also, I saw the red helicopter, SH1t, NOW thats scary!!!
yes them bloody bumps nearly got me as i never new they was there! it dont slow bikes down but were they have put them is very silly! even in the car it;s fun erg no need for em there really as they dont work! it’s like the new speed cams on eltham road every 1 is jamming on there brakes that will cause more crash’s!!!
me 2 and ever since them new humps have gone up it’s even worse!!! on bike and in the motor 99% time for me it’s the bike…i am just wondering who it is as i no loads off bikers round this way! and i can’t deal with two in the same year [Sad] the 1st was a impact to me as it is…
well i have not heard any more on this yet but will keep my ear’s to the floor as i no many riders round here:(
like I posted a couple of weeks ago, it is hunting season for bikers now… so be careful out there guys I do not want to attend any funerals this year!
I’ve had enough of them over the past few years!
R.I.P.
The pillion rider is gonna feel so full of guilt.
I honestly think, far to many people ignore the speed limits and still don’t use hands free kits for mobiles!
