Someone has gotten so fed up about the situation so much that they have started to organise a protest ride to combat the issue and in dire hopes that the government and police hear us.

why scotland yard anyway. what on earth is that suppose to achieve. i really appreciate the feeling but if you dont organize it with the appropriate channels its not going to serve any purpose other than negative publicity
Those people will not be part of the ride - if you’re any bit interested you’d see my posts on the group already stating that there will be no hooligans or wheelies or disruption cause because we need to send a positive message.
I’ll be contacting as many officials as I can to get as much authority behind this.

I admire your optimism and I’d honestly really like to see this not end up with a bunch of angry and impatient motorcyclists protesting with their rev-limiters but it seems unlikely. Maybe we’ve found a use for MAG or the BMF or whoever’s still claiming to be the voice of motorcyclists?

I’m with Alba, and I support this as well, the protest should take place in central London where it gets maximum visibility and its easier to control by a simple couple of lines of 5 or 6 bikes slow riding on the front.
JAX your intentions are good trying to control hooligans from unsocial behaviour, however it will be very hard to do on open roads with three lanes, and the protest has the risk of being cannibalised by a few twats. And on another note, perhaps the admin wants to change the title of the facebook group, to say Motorcylce Theft and Crime, let’s not forget that someone just died today.
Anyway I’ll be asking someone to carry me as pillion, I can hold a banner or whatever. Let me know if you need help.
