I’ve started a list of the stolen bikes or vans involved that lives in the map pocket of my tank bag so I can check it as I’m out and about. Your’s has been added!

Makes me think. Would it be a good idea to start one of those google maps things with locations and registrations of vehicle thefts around London? People in the area could then keep an eye out?

What do we do if we see a bike that we think belongs to someone on here and they have said it has been nicked?
Pull up and ask the rider if it is his bike- They say yes
We say we believe he is not being entirely honest
Not sure how certain i would be that they were lieing unless the rider of your Duc was 17 and wearing a hoodie

Very sorry to hear this. Hope you get it back soon. My Sprints RS was nicked in Feb and I found out two days ago that the police had listed it as “recovered” in March! The bike has been caught speeding and in petrol theft as well. Southwark and Greenwich is where it was viewed.
Have drive round Boradwater farm area when my bike was stolen last year from tottenham i Herd that there is a big thing going on round there with bikes.
Also I ya live in tottenham be warned my bike was nicked from there last year and my mate just lost his k7 gixer from his garage.
Get belled and trackered gives you half a chance coz the cops dont care i never had any follow up
seems to be a big increase of bike thefts in london at the moment, hope you get it back mate

as Steve said there seems to be alot of bike being nicked so be as careful as you can… :unsure:
animal if you go looking for it, dont go on your own, especially around broadwater, the guys round there dont play about.

I’m really sorry to hear about your bike. I know how you feel! My bike '08 was nicked only last Wednesday by some thieving white van scumbags.

I had an R6 stolen from Tottenham outside my house. The thieves got rumbled by my neighbour and drove off so quick that the bike fell out of their van.
Was lucky to get it back even though it was damaged.
Like Ratty said, I wouldn’t go into Broadwater area (unless you have some tooled up friends). The Police don’t even go there unless they really have to I hear, but I think that’s mainly political, a throwback from the riots there in the mid 80s.
