Bike started to fall apart at 110km/hr

Well today I decided to brave the cold and go for a touristy ride. Having only been in the country for a couple of months, and had my bike for a week, I was determined to do something both touristy and bike related. So I decided to ride to Stonhenge and take some photo’s.

However, about 30km from Stonehenge, one of my bar ends completely fell off!!! Thankfully no damage was done to either me or anyone behind me, but I was paranoid something else would happen.

I got there one one peice - took some happy snaps, then came home (a little cold and rattled).

Enclosed is a phone photo of my right handlbar taken a couple of hours ago - and a few pics of Stonehenge (they are mine - but obviously not taken with the phone :stuck_out_tongue: ).

Enjoy,

JB.

Great Stonehenge pics - glad that nothing more serious happened!

haha errrr yeah fab pics mate!!!

Sweet pics dude, great day for it as well! weird about the bar ends, did you get the biker from a dealer? they should replace that bar end if you did… But if you bought from somewhere else, get a service just to check all the bits, so nothing else falls off!!

Thanks guys.

Yeah, I did get the bike from a dealer. I’m about to call them.

Cheers,

JB.
