Is anybody going to Bike Safe at the Ace on Thursday I’m booked and wonder if anyone else from LB was going.

I just booked one for 19th September. I reckon I’ll probably be the only scooter rider so I’m sure I’ll get a copper to myself as no-one will want to ride with me (leper…:D)

Did my bikesafe at the Warren in Croydon back in February, well worth it! really good day out.
I had sun, rain, sleet, snow and hail on my ride. But it was still brilliant, reaaly feel the difference after it’s done and you learn some little tips.

Done mine at the Warren in Croydon, Good day out and great being able to break the speed limit with a copper rideing behind you! Will also bring down your insurance premium!
Day started well. Town ride out in the morning and then lunch at the Ace rode out to countryside near the M40 then got a puncture the 2nd in a month! Had a police escort to a petrol station as he didn’t want to leave me in the middle of nowhere. Then had to wait for the AA to mend to puncture, they did come quickly.
The police were all great and very informative I will be going back another day to re-do the course so hopefully better luck with the bike next time.
Perhaps I need a bike bag with a puncture repair kit plus other essential items.
