Has anyone had experience renting a bike in Florida, or the US generally? There seem to be places to pay a fortune and hire a Harley, but not many/any for a normal bike at a reasonable rate. I ride an SV here. It might be that they are smaller independent places that google can’t find?

Actually they do offer other bikes, so thank you for the link. $69 a day is better than what I found myself.
Yes eagle rider give excellent advice and are a tad below the market rate. I haven’t used them in FL though.
What route are you planning and when?
hope you find something and have fun. 
I have a mate in Jacksonville and waiting for them to do their bike learner course, so no plan yet.
Driving a car around Florida is great though, so on bikes even better!
Here is a crazy idea… why don’t you buy a motorbike and then sell it? Might be cheaper than renting… I was looking at the website and you looking around $100 per day unless you wanna ride a 300cc scooter or ATV.
Would be easier if you had someone over there so if you don’t sell the bike in time they can do it for you.
