I’m moving over Dartford way in a month or so and the train journeys are looking a bit brutal into London Bridge so I was thinking why not ride?
I was considering taking my VFR but it’s a bit of a lump at low speed. I had my eye on maybe a Ninja 300 which is small and should have enough power to manage the A2 but I wouldn’t want it getting nicked when I park it on the street at work.
I’m an Erith boy, can confirm the trains are a proper ball ache. Both local lines (Erith and Bexleyheath) are run by southeastern, recently confirmed as the worst in the country.
As mentioned a CB500 sounds perfect for ya, I had one a couple years ago alongside my blade. Was expecting it to feel pretty crap being used to the power/handling of the blade, but was always pleasantly surprised each time I got on it.
Yeah, that said it would be hard to beat the line I’m on now. It’s a real PITA.
I think a CB500 sounds pretty good. So far it’s a throw up between a Vespa 300GTS, ER6N and a CB500. Need to think about security, dont fancy hailing my Almax chains about
