bike knocked over - worth chasing?

Num num is this not what you do to service bikes? :stuck_out_tongue:

Damn man you are unlucky… hmmm it’s a tricky situation legally (or looks like it). is there any evidence it was knocked over rather than fell over? Because I’m guessing that will be the other car’s argument, that you didn’t park it properly…

i’d go to the police as he drove off, if you get his details then you can ask for some cash rather than going through the insurance,

Damaging someones property and just driving off is so totally out of order.

There’s no way the bike fell over sideways from the centre stand. Since the photo shows the centre stand still down and the chain looks like it would stop the bike from rolling off forward it’s quite clear that somebody pushed it over and it would take quite a push to go over on the centre stand.

At least the car broke its fall.

You park it on the street. You have to expect that. My car bumper was so scratched because of people clipping my get when getting in and out of parking spaces.

i got mine knocked over last november from a RM van and a note with the phone number – got 700 for that  (new exhaust and heated grips after repairs)
but anyway not a nice thing to see coming back from work.

mine was knocked over in finchly last friday.

not that much in parts (footpeg, brake leaver, throttle housing) more the incovienance that its caused
