Been with ebike for a couple of years, just got their renewal quote and they want 667, even with the 3 Brucie bonus points I picked up last July I thought that was a tad steep, so…
Phoned MCE and they are coming out at the cheapest at 394 AND I can ride other bikes on their policy, ebike do not offer that facility.
MCE get the thumbs up from me
im with MCE too, they offer free roadside too
I always shop around every year and Bennetts did the best quote last year… I did some shopping around and no-one could beat my renewal price…until
I got an email from a comparison site I registered with last year and they showed me the different quotes they had found for me and MCE came tops by a country mile. They knocked £100 price off my renewal price and gave me free “local” breakdown cover. At such a good price I was ready to bite their hand off instead of negotiating a better deal.
All sorted and the money saved went on a track day straight away.
My renewal, aquote, £1300. MCE £650.
Nuff said. And if i go TPFT £320 odd.
Job done, one up the
I don’t like doing it because it’s boring but I also shop around each year now.
A few years back the company I had the two family cars insured with used to give me a “loyalty discount” for staying with them after I got full NCB.
Each spring I have two cars and a motor cycle to re insure. This year I saved just shy of £400 on the 3 renewal quotes that totalled about £1K. (Wish I could earn £400 a day.)
Stuff loyalty. I’ll go with the money.
Oh. Carole Nash gave me the best cover/price on the bike this year.
