TBH I think I’ve outgrown my trusty GS500 after only 6 months :doze: and looking around there aren’t many ready restricted bikes available, and I certainly don’t fancy spending £200 getting them fitted to another bike, so am beginning to have tempting thoughts about doing an Accelerated Access test to be rid of this godforsaken 33bhp. limitation - don’t think I could handle it for another 18 months :crazy:
My thinking is, that there will be a massively wider choice of bikes available to me without the restriction e.g. with nice cans etc. Restricted bikes tend to be strictly unmodified.
Does anyone know of where (preferably near the Chingford neck of the woods, and if they use GS500s then it will be a bonus), that will let you hire a bike and accompany you on the road to the test centre and back ?
What sort of price would I be looking at ? I tried looking online but couldn’t find much info about what I’m after.
