BIG BIG thanks to Jay.

Just posting up to say a big big thanks to Jay. I am new here and was in need for some very cheap tyres as I am out of work at the moment! Jay came to my rescue and gave me a set of almost new Bridgestone BT014s. All I had to do was pick them up which i have just done.

That is well shot m8.

Now you need to go learn how to do some corners.

No Chicken strips on that rear tyre

Thats what i like to see, get every penny out of them, they cost enough

Hey Ryan, no worries, glad you like the tires. My god, I can’t believe how worn your old ones are! Enjoy the new hoops…

I’m really sorry to say that but it was very silly and irresponsible to ride a bike with a tyre like that!

I uderstand no work and all that but think how much worse would the situation be with broken bones or paralised after that tyre exploding even doing 40mph in the town and being hit by a car…(knock the wood!)

Please, don’t let it happen again, there is enough bike accidents cause by car drivers, we don’t need more of them caused by bikers themselves.

could be wrong rottie but looks more like he did a burnout on the last legs of the tire rather than riding the steel…

I’m with you Jonny! It looks like a burnout, you just can’t wear off a tyre like that on the road… Can you?

I know someone with a fireblade. First time I rode with them we blasted down some back roads from Boxhill to Bury Hill. We stopped in the car park and had a coffee. I looked over the blade, its the pepperpot version, he had a rear tyre like that and I went nuts at him. That was from road riding, he does not burn out. We came back very slowly and the next day he got the tyre changed.

Fluck me, no way would i ride a bike with tyres like that…

Sorry lads, no burnout on that tyre. Last friday was the last time I was out on the bike. The rear just started to show a bit of metal and by the end of friday night it looked like that. With no burn outs.

Rottie, Yes you are right! It is stupid and irresponsible of me to ride like that. Its a first, I have always had fresh tyres on my bike. I hope it will be the last as well.

JUst got an application through the post

Good one Pappa and big thank to Jay.

Pappa get those tyres on before Friday cause if you havent, I aint riding behind ya nor anyone else

Just get them on

good job you didn’t go through the piccadilly underpass…

God yeah, you’d have needed a big tub of vascoline.

Topcat, unless you borrow me the Gixxer, i’m not out on the friday
