Me and a couple of mates are thinking of going to next years final F1 at silverstone, just wounded if anyone has been there before as a spectator and where you think is the best place to be is.

How much are tickets for F1 these days? i looked a couple of years ago as i wanted to take the old man, but they were suitably expensive! :crazy:
Still are mate your looking at £140 upwards for a 3 day ticket,
basically goes a little like this
A £140 = 3 day pass on the grass
B £190 = 3 day pass on the grass with TV veiw
C £240 = 3 day pass seated no cover with TV veiw
D £290 = 3 day pass seated covered with TV veiw
me and the boys were probably looking at option B, plus my mate only lives up the road so I can drink without any issues.
I’ve been about a dozen times over the last few yrs (sad I know!) - we normally sit in the Silverstone Racing Club grandstand at Luffield (taken from Luffield quote on Silverstone website - You will see the cars for longer in the complex than anywhere else on the circuit. They fly in from Bridge before negotiating their way through the difficult left handers, then it’s all about throttle control as they ease through Luffield and get the power down as soon as possible through Woodcote to head down the main straight).
But get in quick, if the man wins the title this yr I can guarantee you the tickets will be sold out by end of the Brazilian GP wkend!
Although if you marshal you get to go for free…and have the best view ever i.e. no fence in front of you - Chaos and I were posted at Copse a couple of yrs ago - WAS AWESOME 
I’ve never paid to watch the F1, the times I’ve been its been with my company in the williams hospitality area, but the views from there are usually good! I do enjoy watching the F1 live… its a good atmosphere and the sound from the cars is just stunning!
watch it on the telly then you can snooze cos its so boring, oh hang on I forgot about the overtaking in the pitstops
save 2 hours of rubbish and have the pitcrews race each other job done money saved
