anyone know if its possible to get one of those bearing extraction tools for a decent price

saves having to knock bearings out with a drift and damaging them if they are only being temporarily removed
They’re not cheap - I’ve been after one for a while - keep looking at car boot sales and autojumbles
Good tip for wheel bearings is to get a rawlbolt the right size, tighten it in the bore of the inner race and then give it a good twatting - much easier than a drift on the bearing and you can get much more purchase on it, especially if you use an old wheel spindle or similar as a drift on it.

The rawlbolt things is my alternative option as the theres not much out there under the 100 quid mark will keep an eye out as im not in a rush and will create a makeshift one in the meantime and see how it works.
