Just thought I’d give you all the heads up. Dropping the better half off on my way in to work this morning I pulled onto Lexham Gardens and there was a high-top Transit with ‘Authorised Motorcycle removal unit’ stuck on the back and side with dodgy lettering parked up beside a Harley in the bike parking bay. They pulled away sharpish as I parked up which is what made me more than a little suspicious!
I reported it to the local police already but just a warning for anyone parked up in the area. The number plate = KM55 UYT.
Yeah - that was the exact same van. The difference here was that I didn’t say anything to them - I didn’t even get off my bike and they took one look at me in their mirror and drove off at the hurry up. As someone mentioned on the other thread, if you have a legit reason to be there then why rush off just because another bike pulls up?
i think more people need to be aware of this, especially non bikers, as they would report them to police when bikers are not there. they are crafty sods, if i see those about legit or not, even if it say “police” i’ll report that “police” to the police
