I know there are a few Mac users on this site and I thought I’d post that there is a updated version of a downloader that rips the movie to your machine. It also does radio streams from iPlayer to mp3 - i’ve not tried that yet.
A 45 minute TV program becomes a .mov file that’s 170.4MB in size.
