BarEnds and the Handel Bars ??????

Hey every1,

My GSXR 750 K4, came with only 1 R&G BarEnd on the left clutch-side handlebar, and the right one was missing, but not only that, in fact its hollow inside ?!?!?!?!?!

Its missing whatever filling it has to screw in a barend !!! So I unscrewed the left one to find out, it has this metal filling with a hole with a rubber ring around it and a washer at the end. Im NOT sure how long it is as I couldnt get the damn thing out, so im wondering how the right one came out in the 1st place ???

Im struggling to find out, what is the name of this and more importantly where i can buy it from cos I bought a new pair of Katana barends that i would like to fit … ???

Also there is sooooo much more vibration on my right hand to handel which ordinarily shouldnt be a problem !!! But its annoying …

Are motorbike breakers/salvage a good place to start ???

in halfords they sell cheapo bar ends for about 14 quid, these have new inner parts with them which can be used with your new bar ends! the one you described doesnt sound like the standard inner!! should be just a hollow bit of rubber with a square cut out at one end for the bolt to grip!!

any way, the vibration shouldn’t be as noticable when both barends are back on!!

Adam H said it all I use the Oxford bar end screws and rubber bits as there of a decent quality and only 9.99 oh and heres a nice tip if you don’t want to lose your new bar ends a lil lock tight on the screw will keep them secure.
