Bank Holiday MONDAY 21st April. St Georges Day Ride.

good to see you too sweetheart

awww i was really hoping the storm would have missed you guys!

(Franco) note to self: never follow Mark ever again.

Home safe if a little moist.:Whistling:

Thanks to Tim for tailgunning as far as Witney and lunch.

£60 collected for the London Air Ambulance.

Was a great day out, (apart from the M25) :Whistling: Got para and thought it wasn’t Mark, so I dived off :w00t:

Thought it was going to be a lonely ride :hehe:

Thanks to all for great company

Thanks Jamie, Chris and all was great to see everyone today… sorry to hear you all got wet :stuck_out_tongue: but I didn’t have one drop of rain heading south home

Tim got a bit over excited as he hadn’t seen us all for so long…

late night - pa- I went to bed at 1:30 am, was at the Ace for 8:50am :D:D

hope to catch up with you soon though.

I got past Burford before it started raining again, so tucked in and went for it, just got a little damp.

All things considered it went really well today, and well happy with the total for the LAA.

Hope every one enjoyed them selfs.

Thanks to TimR for tail gunning, Chris for leading the first half and the rest of you for turning up.

Riding back to Wantage to get a coffee in the rainstorm reminded me of the last time Puppy (Guy) led the St Georges day ride, it really peed it down that day on the way back as well.

Catch you all soon.

thanks for a great day y`all. good ride and good company. and a nice refreshing soaking on the way home. lovely.

Thanks for a good day out, always entertaining

I did feel sorry for you lot in leathers when it absolutely piiissed down :w00t: made wearing my rukka and sweating my tits off this morning worth it haha.

Had to limp home non motorway and savour the rain drops a bit more lol

Cracking day out. The SV didn’t like the rain much and decided to turn into a single.

It looks like much nice cream was consumed

Best part of any day…something to get ya lips around. :w00t:

yes Art your right there, it was so good I had 2  the second one was yours it was lol.

We was in Southend for seaside fish n chips, nice cream, warm beer and a tattoo. We skipped the last three

We lost people. We gained people. We had multiple leaders and tailgunners… It was the usual organised LB mayhem!!!

Thanks to Rosso and Jets for leading along some of West Oxon’s great little back roads. After we left you, we ducked into the BP near H’s to wait out the hail storm, only to get caught in the next one past Henley. I haven’t been that wet on the bike for a long time :w00t:! I wasn’t feeling the love for my Pirellis at that point, that’s for sure.

Rosso - you were far too polite and didn’t relieve me of a donation before we left you, so I’ll look into doing it online.

Haha … looks like I missed a good rideout, will be along to a few over the year

It went up to 75 pounds with the gift aid

that just tops the day off nicely. thanks to all who donated .

That will be the front plug, its not very well protected in heavy rain. Nice big drop of grease or lubricant around the plug will stop most water getting in the socket.

Spot on Kevsta sent me a very good link about it. The drain hole was also blocked not allowing the water to escape.
