well i swapped my old white cbr stunter for a bandit 1200 the other week:) so its time to start playing about and getting her to look pretty for the road!! any ideas where to start???

Hello pal, as you know bandits are like lego, what subbie you got in mind? Plent of cheap front ends on ebay, mine was a gixxer k5 pretty easy swop.

dunno about a subbie yet either! i put it on my bench for the first time today and started stripping it down!
Plums are ok now mate, but I got a swallon tendon in me groin that dont seem to want to get better :crazy:
Bl*de engine and frame is all good, so I’m gona rebuild ‘El-Bastedo’ and put it back on the road 
Cant really do much on the fighter at mo mate, still cant move about (lifting etc) to well

You’ll be best off with the gixxer ones, the bandit yokes will be too narrow to accommodate the centuries. I might have the diagram somewhere so you can have the measurements, they should be at work. You might get away with pressing in the bandit stem?

well, actually made a start last week and starting to strip it down, need to source some gsxr yokes so i can play about with the front end, hopefully one day this week i’ll measure the back end and see if mr moto’s jmc swinger will fit!
got busy with an angle grinder the other day and cut down the rear subframe, i’ll put pics up when my broadband gets activated in my room, cut it down and have made it so the bottom tube is at steeper angle, had it welded up and tidied it up so thats the rear sub sorted!!!
taken the front end off of my old yzf 750r and pressed the bandit stem into the yoke, so got a decent front end with upside downies all sorted, just the risers and a few more fiddly bits to sort out there!
getting a jmc swinger from el tel tommorow so will get that sorted and lined in next week, then put it away safe and drop the engine out of the frame,
i’m not back in dorset till next week so will get the pics up then:D

i will do eventually, i cant work on her this week as i’m off to the metisse factory for a few days, but hopefully i’ll get the engine out soon and get some stuff sent off to the coaters!!
