tried to get my Vespa serviced by these jokers today and they kept my bike all day, wasted my time and treated me like **** under their shoe. Avoid at all costs, they are far too pleased with themselves.

you guys need to put a review filter on any new post in the shame section so that you can review it before it end up on line…
The issue about newbies posting shame topics aside, I think he’s right.
I bought my first scoot of them and had it religiously serviced by them. Craig (owner) is a really lovely guy and toke ages explaining everything about old Vespas without a pressure sell, which is why I went back. The guy (Vincent I think) who used to run the workshop is a bit moody, but knows his stuff but has left. There’s another guy I forgot his name (tall, Laurent?) who is really good, but if you’re unfortunate to be served by any of the, what I assume are, apprentices, you’re in trouble. Once I asked about my non-working indicator the response I had was “yes, they do that, sometimes they don’t work”. A couple of weeks later, I had it serviced and the ongoing electrics problem “sorted”, paid good money and nothing was sorted. Toke it to scooter emporium the next week and they sorted the electrics there and then, pointed out the shock was leaking and the brake shoes dangerously low. Not something you expect after paying good money for a full service.
A couple of years later when my scoot was stolen, I thought I’d give Craig and Scooterworks another chance and went in the shop with the cash ready to buy a new. I was going to get PX200. Craig wasn’t there as he’s running the workshop again, but some kid who didn’t even care to look up from behind his laptop while “serving” me. I was pretty much waving the money in front of him but he had no interest in talking to me at all. That’s the last time I’ve been in that shop.
Scooter Emporium are a bit more expensive and the guy in the workshop there can be a bit moody at times, but he’s a diamond.
I know you did but I do not think that the number of post is the right way to do it.
Post should on this section should be vetted by mods.
Now if it is from someone well known and the post clearly explained that attempt to get the wrong made wright as gone nowhere then so be it. SHAME SHAME SHAME
In the other hand, if the post come from unknown source, or do not specified any attempt to communicate with the shamed party, then mods could contact the posted asking them for more info or even to call them before letting the post in view of everybody.
I think this would give more weight to what is post here and also protects the website owner against possible legal claim for facilitating defamation as they would have done all that could be expected to protect innocent people or business from abuse.
on a lighter note Laurence (the tall one) now works over at Scootech, Roman Road , Danny from the now closed Scooter Emporium was last heard working at Scooterwerks part time, both Diamond geezers and a mine of useless scooter information to me !!:D:D:D:D
i agree m8 but wot i disagree with is if you look at the authors name etc still says he visited 1ce and posted 1ce so really just came on to stir things.
I know nothing about scooterworks etc just think its wrong when this happens
I didn’t realise Scooter Emporium had closed down. That’s a shame. Yes, Danny his name is. Top bloke. So is Laurence, I hope he got a better job at the new place.
