Aussie Female Newbie

Hi all!

I’ve had my license for a while but we’ve been traveling for a few years so feel like a newbie again. Still got some sea-legs on me every now and again, but managed to ride around Spain for a month with hubby on his Fireblade and me on my Hornet without dropping it! LOL

I’m really keen to know if there are any females (not that I’m excluding you fellas, but your adrenaline levels kinda sit a tad higher than mine!) who are keen for weekday or weekend ride outs so I can begin to build my confidence further up and work on my fine biking skills. Hubby and my current biker friends are much more compentent and find I go a little slower for them, so keen to find a similar riding group.

I am a shift worker so it is rare I get a weekend off, so am keen to see if there are any weekday riders out there also.

Looking forward to meeting new people and different riders. Will have to organise a shift swap for the next newbies meet!

Cheers,
Rachelle (aka Yappa)

welcome to LB

the trouble with the women, is they go as fast as the guys, if you want slower, try the “old farts” members, I happen to be in that section:D:D

Welcome to LB
TimR does some nice gently rides.

Hello from another Aussie Female Newbie.

Welcome.

Hi ya,

There are a good few ‘lady’ riders with variable levels of ride standard. I’m sure you’ll enjoy some of the rides provided.

hello and welcome to the forum, we all ride different ways and on different levels, bu practise makes perfect  hope to see you out on some ride outs

Ello and welcome

Whereabouts are you based? I’m in the Blackheath area (south East London) you should pop along to the teahut on a wednesday eve

Welcome to LB

welcome to LB

Gday,
Sorry should have qualified that more. I agree with the speed - that fellas and chicks go/can go at the same speed! But intimidation is still a factor for me - dunno why! LOL

Been meeting bikers enroute to Boxhill and playing so guess I just need some more of that.

At the moment I’ll take any group of member to get me over that hump of intimidation! LOL

Have a great day!!

Heya mate!
Where you at? What do you ride?
Cheers

Hi  Welcome to LB

I find some of us girls are more patient and chilled out then some of these boys  :stuck_out_tongue: I’m always up for a ride wherever

Gday,
I’m at Wandsworth! I’ve got night shift this Wed eve but free next week. Will have to head over

Hey flipper!
You put in words what I was trying to say - THANK YOU!!!

That’d be fantastic, I’ll send you a message with my details and give me a holler when you feel the need for the breeze in your hair!!
Cheers

Maybe you two could mull over where to place the patio, gazzebo and then contemplate the interior decor (Sorry Yappa, a joke at the Plums expence (Sorry plummy))

Yappa, don’t mention ‘humping’ around the tea hut - they might get the wrong idea
