I tend to get stopped ALOT (I think it’s because I have that 12 year old look). But I’d still prefer more jam sandwiches than now.

Where abouts did this happen in Hornsey? I’m local to there and have had incidents recently of getting a bit of hassle on my bike from lads on scooters.
Anytime anyone wants to get together an go for a ride picking on groups of scooters for no reason count me in… Even a small show of presence might let them know people are on to then. .
Nothing illegal just kick them off their peds if I spot a ped without a key in the ignition, clamp him and his boyfriends on the floor and accidentally break his rib whilst performing a citizens arrest.

As I was saying to you yesterday, the brazeness of the little shits is unbelievable. You’re a pretty big bloke who can obviously handle their bike really well (even if I did see you in a little skirt like number at CN! ), yet they still targeted you. You done really well keeping the bike upright and getting away from them undamaged. I’m sure that most people in that situation, no matter how much bravado they come out with, would’ve ended up either losing their bike, on the deck or worse. I think it was Alba who posted recently about a woman biker who got pretty badly beaten while her bike was taken.
That is scary to hear Jax. Glad you got away with yourself and the bike unharmed. Can you give a bit more details how you managed to do that? I am reading right before going to test ride a new CBR!

I’m aware of the petition calling for the new Mayor to do more on London’s motorcycle/scooter crime … is that it, or does anyone know of other routes to raise this problem further up the ‘profile pole’ ?
