Hi guys, long time no type I know but its march and I’m coming out of hibernation now
Anyway, looking at going to Assen for the GP and want to stay in the town centre, anywhere where the bikes will be safe… there’s 2 of us. I have looked and can’t find anywhere online at the mo. Does anyone have any contacts or hotel details please.
Also, I stayed a few years back in a place which had chalets and camping with a massive outdoor pool, bar etc and was within walking distance from the track (and short taxi ride to town) but can’t remember what it was called, mainly full of germans too. There was about 8 of us from the hornets nest website that hired a chalet.
Not sure about local to assen but we are staying in Zwolle, nightlife is better and a very secure underground car park. Otherwise Groningen is good for a laugh, mini Amsterdam complete with red light district.
I’ve stayed in Zwolle before too with superbiketours.com (mercure hotel although years ago) but that was for WSB, want to stay in Assen for the party atmosphere. My first time there I camped as I was working on my mates Castrol Honda simulator in the middle of the town at night. It was banging!!! My fellas never been and want him to see what Assen town is like when the TT is on. To be honest, its looking like now its all booked up anyway.
