Back protector and body armour
3 November 2003
Dear Planet Knox team,
We are now at the end of a fantastic season for TFR racing. We finished 16th (out of 96) in our 600cc class and considering we missed 6 rounds due to injury (more of which below!) and that we currently only have a standard engine, we are well pleased.
I would like to express my sincere thanks to you and the Planet Knox team. This is Donington Park on the 19th July 2003 – I’m exiting Goddards Corner (the bike is facing up the track!):
We were running in 5th position at the time in the Open class when the back end let go – big style! This next photo (!) is taken a couple of days afterwards. If you’re squeamish, please close your eyes now:
Without wearing your products (back protector and body armour) I would now be recovering from a broken lower back/coccyx and a smashed pelvis. We’d just like to express our sincere thanks. On behalf of all at TFR racing please keep up the good work.
All the best and see you again in the 2004 season,
TFR racing 2003

should have got a bum protector… ouch

hehe

Don’t be ‘cheeky’ Steve

Ow man, that made us both cringe looking at it!! Poor bloke, bet he couldn’t sit down for quite a while!! ALWAYS wear full back protectors guys, they are invaluable, you can’t put a price on your mobility!

no slap and tickle for a bit then??

stick to stuntin its slower

that was poor… but my standards are known to be low…

well done, lol
