By what I understood, some twat in a cage, confused by the relatively low speed of Arnie, pulled up in front of him changing lane without warning thinking that the bike in is mirror could not be real as way to slow… 
Good new is that Arnie took some major life changing decision and will insure that damage to his mirrors and indicators to not ever happen again…

Had a run in with one on Friday morning at Vauxhall… thank god for pavements.
Went up the inside lane all the way got to three cars queuing and just as I got to the first one in the que decided he had to occupy the same space I was.
Then the silly twat told me he didn’t see me in his mirror, so I ask him in a very gentle tone if he remembered the bit about checking his blind spot before making a maneuver then kicked his headlight in, well it made me feel better
Sorry about this dude. Hope you heal up soon and that the bike isn’t too bad.
