Arnie got done!

Going ‘slow’ down Soho area from Camden. One of the last corners before Oxford Station, 6 police cars and people waving to me. My first reaction wave back. Then realized they want to stop me

Me: What’s happening ?
Officer: Take your lid off!
Me: What’s going on ?
Officer: We pulled you for doing high speed in traffic bla bla bla
Me: Me fast speed ? How much was I doing ?
Officer: We didn’t messure it.
Me:
Other Fat Officer: Have you got your driving licence ?
Me: (gave it to them with a smile on my face)

Then they started talking about all this crap law about dark visors, exhausts, that the road is not a track bla bla And pointed my illegal number plate :stuck_out_tongue: They couldnt really do me for my speed as nobody checked it, but got my details and will be send letter to change number plate/pay fine or go to court etc.
Spoke to one of the Policmen and was told it will end up only on fine. There was just one big fat b@stard who was saying that I will get done £1000 fine for that, will have to re register my bike. Fat Offcer said also my drivinig licence is illegal as my address is not valid. Took them 10 min to find it on their own as it’s written in polish. Then they realized they need my UK address  Took them 20 min to find it in their system…
The Fat Officer was most funny as he even said my number plate obsctructs the rear susspension and makes my bike unsafe to ride. He said’ If I went on this bike over the bump I would break your number plate’. I gave him my keys. He didn’t try. Lol

I’ve been told my black visor in unsafe/illeagal. I said to guy I need it as I have very sensitive eyes, because of sitting in front of PC (yes yes watchin porn) I told him what would happen if I had sunglasses instead. He said it would be fine. English law… Whatever.

Few bikers passed me when I was sitting on the pavement and playing with my phone

Some other officer came and they told me to seat on the bike and they were checking my suspennsion. I said I got it done by BN Science and it must be right, even pointd B’s sticker.

Anyway ended up only on one offence. Spent like 40 min with them b@stards. Missed my lunch because of that:pinch: Went to soho, done what I was going there for and went back the same way.
Some off the cars went away already but few of the Policemen were still there. Race track position, first gear, black visor ,30 mph (within the limit), passed them and waved  Saw in their eyes being not happy about that.

I’ve got one question now. I signed offence ticket, this piece of paper like a notebook officers had. My ofence was described and my words noted ‘I will change my number plate’.
I assume I have to change it but they didn’t put any date. And what’s more they didn’t note to change the place number plate was mounted  So think I don’t have to change it yet as for me ‘I will’ and ‘I’m going to’ makes a difference

Just didn’t like the Fat Officer, but was very funny to pi$$ him off all the time when he was talking about suspenssion etc. He stood right behind my bike and said ‘I can’t read your number plate’. I replied ’ I wear glasses and I can’ Just saw on his face how angry he was

Anyway sorry for trashig the forum  Ride safe, slow, wear clean visors and get legal number plates !

Over and out !

Arnie

lol naughty naughty arnie!!!

Could have been worse, they may have found out your an illegal and deported u
lol

maybe thats why they held u up so long? didnt like you smiling at them and wanted to find excuse to take u away
lol

You are a bad influence Arnie. ;)

You should have terminated them :hehe::hehe:

Hopefully thats a lesson learnt honey

Well whilst you are keeping them busy they are leaving the rest of us alone, lets hope they don’t read LB eh

Was thinking about it but there were to many witnesses :D:D I could probably only break necks of one or two before the rest would run away:)

I haven’t got LB stickers but told them about LB when we were talking about black visors law

And that was helpful how? :stuck_out_tongue:

traiter!

Don’t worry Arnie, you could be up in court for having a puncture like me.

I told them ’ We had a chat on LondonBikers forum about black visors the other day and in my opinion British Law is stupid about this’ My exact words :stuck_out_tongue:

The only reason why you can’t wear black visor is that they can’t see your face and for example in case somebody steals the bike they don’t know if it’s you or not riding  They don’t know how I look anyay so don’t understand it  And if somebody steals my bike I will be at police station not on the street lol

The thing with court is if I would have to attend it during normal working hours they wpuld have to pay me my daily rate for work. I’m here to earn money and if they ever stop me from doing it I would be claiming it from them. I bet I wouldn’t ever win anything but at least I would made them work hard:P

What is it ? am i turning into an old man or something ?
Am i really the only one that thinks you are an idiot sometimes arnie ?

You were in the wrong , take it like a man, no need to be disrespectful and purposefully **** the guys off cos they’re just gonna think we’re all tw*ts .

Sorry Zeph but you wrong. I’m not a twat at all ! I haven’t been doing fast speed or making danger to other road users. They didn’t like my loud exhaust I bet, that’s why I got pulled, as I usually keep high revs/low gear which brings the attention.

True is that lound exhaust or small number plate didn’t kill anyone so I don’t see anything wrong with it.

No your’re wrong , no one said you were a tw*t , i said they would think we were . maybe its just me, people can tell me if so, but i find that a bit of respect and a sensible attitude goes a long way when in that type of situation. It is the perception of acknowledgment of responsibility that can make the difference between being kept waiting for ages while they try and get you for something or being let off with a caution.
You can always call them ****s under your breath afterwards.

I didn’t say anyhing wrong when they pulled me. I agreed to almost everything they said. Not to the suspenssion bit and black visor one.
I spoke to the most of Policemen and they were friendly. Or or two came up to be a bikers aswell. One even showed pictures of his bike. He told me even he wanted to get one like mine.

There was a big fat ugly old officer with them who appeard to be a boss and all the rest was doing what he was saying. I didn’t even say I word I knew I will be done for sth so I didn’t pretend I’m sad or very sorry I done it. In fact I didn’t do anything, just rode my bike as alaways The fat officer was taking photos of mine bike, talking about danger my small number plate makes etc etc I knew there was no way round especially when there were 6+ officers round.

arnie, unlucky son you got nabbed!

what you should have said was…

ok officer my numberplate is taking the pi$$ a bit ill do something about it, and well yes my exhaust is loud, BUT it helps in traffic, peopel know when im behind them or possibly in their blind spot and as for my dark visor, well today is a bright sunny day and without it i would be squinting alot and unable to see much, i have snesitive eyes as i work with computers all day long.

you could have been a bit more helpfull to them dude!! even if one is pissing you off (good cop, bad cop trick) dont play up to it, aint worth it, they will just hold you longer and look for excuses to give you tickets.

TRUST me i used to get pulled lot when i was younger;)

oh, and i TOLD you that plate would get you in trouble!:D:D

Agreed…Pissing the Po po off normally makes life more difficult for yourself IME.

depends: from what he said they were acting like twats as well (the fat one) I see no reason to treat the police any differently than they treat me. If I get intelligent reasoning and respect they get it right back…if they talk to me like a 5 year old and spout on crap they dont know about then they get the same back.

When I had a foreign license I once got stopped by police and this was his comment “what sort of mickey mouse license is this ?” (not said with a smile) so I answered " the sort to show mickey mouse police…sir "

he was a prick so I was as well
