Well what a joke after seeing a thread up here the other day about a camera put on the queenstown road to catch people going around traffic islands on the wrong side ive known that a pcn would be coming my way but one says colour other while the other one does have it as red can i get away with just paying one?
Are they for the same incident? Or is this a regular occurance for you?
I would guess if they are for seperate incidents then you have to pay for both.
one was on the 19/5 and the other the 21/5 got both today in the post. im pretty sure they have to fill these out properly for it to stand?
what sucks is there are no signs in the cctv area that warns you and yes i understand its a no no and havnt done it since

Maybe you could pled and ask to only pay for one offense (but i don’t think you will let you off). How much are the fines anayway?? At least they are not points?
Not trying to make it right but with this one its solid traffic you can clearly see if anything is coming and your going slow to pass so theres no danger to it but yes you shouldnt do it and i never made a habit of doing so and now never again.
If i pay up now its an eye watering £120 for the both.

I would expect your stuffed. Once they got your tail its rare you’ll get loose unless there’s a technicality.

I went the wrong way around a traffic island by mistake the other day…
do the crime ,pay the fine and stop biching ,

if they got the colour wrong I would argue it, I got off one when they got one number wrong on a plate and thier paperwork, ask for the photo

So did I, overtook a bendy bus and halfway in the middle of the bus was a traffic island.
This was in the center of the city. I will contest it if it arrives because there was nothing illegal about my overtake move, but I couldn’t possibly be expected to know there was an island in the middle of the damn bus!
+1 If they got the paperwork wrong you may get away with just one.
If they got the details wrong on the PCN —in anyway—contest it.
Make them earn the money. Pay up for one - but if they’re to lazy to get it right serve them right.
Check the time and date stamp too - Lambeth get this wrong a lot so you never know Wandsworth may may be the same…

Aren’t you supposed to check that you have a clear exit when overtaking, rather than overtaking and mid-way realising, that you have to hope for the best?

i had a starnge one of these once…folwing a mate, we BOTH went round the traffic island, but she got teh fine!? not me…odd!
