My commute takes me past various tourist hotspots of London (Buckingham palace, Traf square and more) and i always see loads of tourists taking pictures as I ride by.
So I must be in some of these picture right??
can you imagine… in some foreign land someone is showing his loved ones/friends that picture he took of ‘the queens house’ etc…
and there in the background, corner theres you (or me) !!! :w00t:
Working in Westminster I must be in the background of hundreds of tourists photos! :w00t:
There’s always loads of people taking photos on Parliament Sq, Whitehall, Great George St and Horse Guards Rd, I’m usually in too much of a hurry to worry about waiting or going around people taking photo’s so no doubt they’ll be sat there saying “we had to take this one again as some old bloke walked right through the middle of it!!”
I must admit that I used to have a bit of a naughty streak in me when it comes to tourists. When asked if I would take a photo for somebody, I would get them all nicely posed, and then angle the camera down slightly so when they got home and developed the film they would get a lovely picture of themselves… minus their heads! :w00t:
Doesn’t work so well now, due to everyone haveing digital camera’s and the like! They just see what you’ve done as soon as you hand it back…
Hehe… A couple of years ago, I was sitting in a beach shack in Goa, table on the sand, having a beer and… er… some ‘lemon’, as Ratty would say, and this couple at a table about 5 yards in front of me asked the waiter to take a pic…
So I spread my arms, big cheesy grin - the waiter cottoned on and never said a word - they must’ve gotten home, thought they had a lovely romantic shot and found my fat mug in the background :D:D:D
There’s a photo of me in China! Some Chinese tourists wanted to take a pic of my father in law when we were up the Empire State Building in new york, usa! He has very long hair, and is a big hippie. I got in one pic too!
