I have noticed that 15% of bikers may not be at their best behaviour sometimes, but I also noticed that a much higher percentage of scooter riders have a complete disregard for priorities, mirror checks and much more.
Would never get on a scooter.
ExScooterist now on a bike.
Agree with your observations - think a lot of scooterists just lack training. On my DAS we were drilled about safety - which you just dont pick up on CBT.
Suppose a few are very young and think they are invincible (some bikers too!)
Where is Giuliano???
both…
and BenelliBoy…
Always suspected you swing both ways! :P:P:P
hahaha! im a closet scooterista!
Would rather ride my vespa than my gsxr in town anyday,i have left many a courier for dust in heavy traffic and i dont care if some b…ard parks his peice of crap up against it. The best grand i have ever spent. Oh yeah, both!
I’ve gone from bikes to scooters so i think i’m both.
Never been on a scooter
You should try it, you never know you might like it.
CANT WE BE BOTH!!
i got gixer 600 and 200cc gilera runner(vxr). riding the gixer round town is a nuicence where as the PED is an insane blat through town. i`ve done 3 rear tyres in 6000klm. locking up the back is sooooo much fun and it scares the fu<k out of everybody nearby

i challenge anyone to take my PED for a spin and say they don`t like it;)
Both - Ex scooterist and now on a bike too…Still got the scooter though and it will live again
where is the both button?
I have beening riding Vaspa ET2 50cc for over 2 years and Honda NSR125 for 4 months and just passed DAS last week and own a CBR600FS now after sold my beloved NSR
, so I am both.
I still have the ET2, I use it for a short trip around town and when the weather is rubbish, I am a fair weather bike rider, so don’t like to use the bike when it is raining, cold I am ok but not rain.
Dan
had to do my cbt on scooter cos the dumbass riding school wouldn’t hear otherwise, never ridden one since!..
not gonna be one of those blind bikers who thinks twist and go’s cant have their fair share of fun tho…it is motorised two wheels after wall, and there’s not much use having insane top speeds and accelerations in a 30mph city!..
though once you own and ride a bike, there is no other way other than to bigger things:D
big disadvantage of a scooter tho - having an off at 30 would be bloody more painful than on a bike, cos you just can’t stroll around in aplinestars and then hop onto a vespa!
Both. had an SP 125 Gilera runner. Now on bandit 600. Give me the power of the bike every day. Who needs handleing when you have a loud can so everyone can hear and move out of your way.
i ride anything with two wheels…and an engine! cos i’m slightly unfit for pedal power…
get twats on all types of bikes…im a saint on my SV but a knobber on the CBF:hehe:
